My Top 3 directors For the DCU!

1. M y first pick is Chole Zhao now i know that this may come off as a shocker to you all because of her comic book movie track record with Eternals. The Reason i picked her is because she deserves a second chance i do not feel like eternals was the movie she wanted to make and i am not gonna hold her to that because she mad NomadLand which was a beautiful looking film and was her vision. There is a reason she is a Oscar winner she is an amazing film maker and deserves a second chance in this genre i think the DCU can provide that for her. I would love to see her take on paradise lost or Wonder Woman maybe even New Gods. I think as long as they let her have her own creative process and she gets to do her visual style i think that she can make an amazing film.

2. My second Pick is Gareth Edwards now look this is a personal pick can't lie i have been a fan of Gareth's movies since Godzilla it is one of my favorite movies of all time. I will be honest his recent work has not been the best The Creator was not received well even though i loved it and Jurassic World Rebirth was not liked as well and considered one of the more worse movies to release this year, but i still think he deserves a chance because of his visual style. I have always felt like Gareth's movies lack character development outside of Monsters which i think he finally blends great character development and his visual style in that film, outside of that though his movies are always lacking that. I think the best way to go here is to not let him write the movie he should just direct it let his amazing visuals shine through he needs a project with big scale and preferably monsters if some sort.

3. My Last pick is Sean Wang this director blew me away with didi last year an amazing coming of age story set in the 2000s. This is the director i want to see most in the DCU i think he has the most potential out of any of the three to be in the DCU for a long time. He is young guy only 31 he wrote and directed his last film showing he can do both and be successfully. I would love to see him take on an coming of age hero story i think he would strive in that space like a Jessica Cruz or the Teen Titans . Didi felt so personal when i watched it you could tell that he put a lot of himself into that film. I think if you give him a project to dive deep into a young characters background he can make them very relatable to the audience. i think he would genuinely do so well with the Teen Titans i don't know how well he is with balancing groups but i know for a fact he would be able to make each character feel so personal i think the audience would be able to resonate with them so much. The same thing applies to Jessica Cruz he can dive deep into her tragic back story and show her anxiety about being a green lantern. Overall i think he is a perfect fit for the DCU and i pray they get him on a project.
