Where are the X-Men in Marvel's Wolverine?

So i loved the wolverine trailer a lot and am so hyped for the game but i feel like one thing is definitely a big question is where are the X-Men and i have three theories on where they could be. The First theory is that the X-Men do not exist yet so let me explain we know that Boliver Trask and Trask industries are definitely a thing in this universe we know that sentinel is already made. My Theory is that the X-Men never got a chance to actually form Trask has hunted down most of the mutants already using the help of other mutants like Omega Red and Mystique. Most Mutants are already gone and wolverine has lasted so long cause he has been in hiding as mutants have been hunted down. I think if wolverine and other mutants are able to defeat trask he will form the X-Men to stop anything like trask and the sentinels from happening again. My Second Theory is that the X-Men are disbanded so kind of like the first one except the X-Men broke up maybe part of going into wolverine past is going into what exactly led to the break up of the team this could also lead to trask taking over and hunting down mutants as this would be his window since the X-men are not a thing anymore. Now all the mutants who hated the X-Men like Omega Red or Sabertooth can easily find wolverine. I think if the X-Men are disbanded trask could be the perfect reason for them to get back together maybe Wolverine is the first mutant to see a sentinel and he sees how much damage that it could do if there were multiple so he decides to from the X-Men again. The Last theory is that the X-Men are dead this one is pretty simple the X-Men are dead and this is a world where trask sentinels have taken over along with his cybernetic enforcements. Logan is now being hunted down as he is the last mutant that has not joined trask part of this game could be exploring logans past and what caused the death of the X-Men. So these are my theories for marvels wolverine i don't know if any of these will be true but i know that i will be there day one for wolverine!
