CINEMA CON 2026 PREDITICONS!!!

Sony

There are a few guarantees that i think will happen for this Spider-man brand new day, Beyond the Spider-verse, Resident Evil, Evil Dead Burn, and The beetles. They are either currently shooting or are done shooting i don't think there will be trailers for all these but there will be new updates. Last year Sony went pretty heavy at CinemaCon announcing the title for Spiderman brand new day and showing footage from Beyond the Spider-verse. I expect much of the same thing here they will bring most of the heavy hitters this year. I really do expect a good showing from Sony easily one of my most anticipated for this CinemaCon.

WARNER BROTHERS

Man i think this is probably one of the more toss up things for this year on one hand warner could show a lot of stuff on the other hand they could show nothing. I think the one thing that will definitely Show Supergirl and Lanterns they both have trailers already so they in my mind it is basically locked that some news will come from them. Clayface i genuinely do not think anything will get shown from that maybe a poster but i do not think anything else it just feels to early for it. Last year dc studios did hold two press conferences one where they showed footage of dynamic duo and one that was focused on superman which was not released at the time. I think the same thing will likely happen this year DC Studios really likes to stick to the same format a lot of the time. They will likely show the SuperGirl main trailer here and bring the cast on stage so expect the trailer to release online in like may. The second panel i think could be more first looks potentially at something like my adventures with superman or my adventures with green lantern. They could announce some shows that were reported like the v for vendetta show that is in the works or booster gold basically just giving official confirmation that they are happening. I also expect something about the paramount merger i cannot say exactly what but something from it will be here. Warner Bros also has MK2 i could see the cast coming out for that as well and they show a new trailer. I am obviously excited for the dc stuff that will be here but anything else not so much but still i will tune in for there conference.

UNIVERSAL

Let's go ahead and get the obvious out of the way something for the odyssey will be here it is universal biggest movie this year do not think i have to explain this one. I think there also could be something here for Michael as it will be close to release at this time. Dreamworks has an advanced screening this year which i think could be the minions movie last year i think it was the live action how to train a dragon. I also think disclosure day will get a new trailer here it may drop online a bit before and they just show it again at CinemaCon. One Film i think could be here that i don't see anyone saying is Robert Eggers Werwulf film it comes out this year and this presentation is a collaboration with Focus Features so do not be surprised if something about werwulf comes out. Universal for me personally just does not have a lot that makes me interested but i am excited to see something for the odyssey.

AMAZON MGM STUDIOS

So i want to say this first i do not think any bond news will be here they do not even have a release date the last time i checked so i would be shocked if they showed anything here. Amazon honestly does not have much coming out besides Project Hail Mary which will be out way before this so i would honestly cross that off the list. Their next big thing that is coming out is Masters of the Universe and i could see them showing a new trailer here and bringing the cast there since this is a big IP project for them. I do have one curveball to throw out there which is they announce an invincible live action movie i have no proof of this just a guess. How to rob a bank the new David Leitch film will is another film that i expect to see here probably a first trailer. I really want Spider-Man Noir to be here but i do not think it will be here cause it is a tv show but it would be fun to see something from it be here. Overall i think amazon really won't have that much but we will see i am not expecting anything crazy though.

DISNEY STUDIOS

So let us first talk about what i think are the guarantees for Disney at CinemaCon. First the biggest one the most obvious Avengers Doomsday it will obviously be here this year. I do not think that there will be a trailer online i think they will just show it exclusively at CinemaCon but i do expect posters to drop the week of. This is the potentially the biggest movie of 2026 and one the most hyped movies of the past two years i think this will be one of the main focuses for disney this year. The next film i want to talk about here is devil wears prada 2 i definitely think this will be here at this point it will be about a month out i could see a new trailer coming out by then. Tickets will be on sale and disney has a press conference at a huge con and it is a sequel to a very loved movie the perfect setup for a con. Moana live action i know those two words give us nightmares but it is happening. I think the cast will be here for this one and i think a new trailer will drop either at CinemaCon or before. I think this movie will be a hit for disney unfortunately and it will be about 4 months out at this point so i could see a second trailer and some details being released. Toy Story 5 do i really have to say anything here it will be one of the biggest movies this year and i find it very hard to believe that disney would leave this one out by any means. The last one i wanna talk about is Mandalorian and Grogu i think this will be there but i wanna talk about how CinemaCon needs to be a win for this movie. I think this movie has had some of the single worst trailers and promo this year the superbowl trailer was awful the main trailers in general have been very underwhelming as a whole and i feel like the overall hype for this movie is at an all time low. It is almost looked at as just a meme at this point and i fear of this movie does not succeed star wars movies could become a thing of the past. So i think CinemaCon this year needs to be a win for this movie get the fans back on board with a solid trailer and build good momentum until release there is still time to save this i hope atleast. Disney overall always has a big year this is no different just add some of the most hyped movies to the list.
