EXCLUSIVE: "THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD" TO START PRODUCTION IN 2027.

James Gunn and DC Studios have been eager to get Batman off the ground, and we can exclusively back what Apochorseman reported on X: The Brave and the Bold is shooting for a late 2027 start of production.

Deadline previously described the project as being in early development, but it's further along than that. No actors have been cast yet, and it's still unclear to us whether Andy Muschietti remains attached to direct the film, there's been no recent update on that front.

We’ve been told the studio is being extremely cautious with the character, fully aware of how important Batman is to the DCU.
