Toms King's Mister Miracle: A Twist on A Classic Character That Divides Everyone.

Tom King is already one of the most devise comic writers for everyone from his very controversial Strange adventures to his recent work on Wonder Woman that has truly disappointed core fans of the character. Today i wanna focus on one of the books that i constantly see so much divide over which is Mister Miracle, This idea came from when i posted on TikTok about the now Animated series being made at DC Studios based off this book. When i initially posted about this it was met with excitement people said they cannot wait because they loved the book and could not wait to see characters like Darkseid and Orion. Then i also saw people who were a bit more skeptical saying that this book was not the best introduction to scotts character as this is a DC Black label and is almost considered an elseworld story. So because of this some people feel like this is not the best introduction to the series as they feel some characters are written out of character like Orion. Tom King has a history of doing this famously with strange adventures where he completely changes the backstory of Adam Strange in his Strange adventures run. The main reason i saw people upset with this is the disrespect to Jack Kirby's Fourth world they feel like the first time we see the new gods should be through an adaption of the classic run then down the line something like this Tom King mister miracle could come out. I should also say that it is not known if this project is set in the DCU or not as stated by Nexus point news. I personally do not really care for this series or tom king i don't really like his writing at all so this the one DC project i feel like i will skip.
